Privacy Policy

Short version: DinkFair has no account or organizer backend. The iPhone app stores rosters, sessions, rounds, and fairness receipts locally. Browser generator fields stay in the browser and can optionally be saved there. Optional analytics excludes player names and session content.

Data on your device

The iPhone app stores the names and identifiers you enter, roster settings, court labels, accepted and completed rounds, and fairness snapshots in local SwiftData storage. Text and PDF exports are created only when you request them. DinkFair does not operate a server that receives this session database. Deleting a session or the app removes local data subject to your device backups.

Browser tools

The web generator calculates locally. Its Save on this device control uses browser localStorage for the roster and rounds you explicitly save. That data is not uploaded by DinkFair and can be removed through browser storage controls. Printing and sharing use browser or operating-system features you invoke.

Anonymous product analytics

When a production PostHog token is configured, the site and app send limited product events such as landing view, generator use, round generation, receipt open, constraint infeasibility, session completion, share action, paywall view, purchase status, restore completion, App Store CTA impression, and App Store CTA click. Properties may include page path, broad event context, player-count and court-count numbers, bye count, repeat-cost totals, referrer domain, sanitized UTM source, medium, campaign and content values, app version, platform, locale, and a pseudonymous installation or browser identifier.

DinkFair does not send player names, court labels, scores, team assignments, roster contents, receipt text, free-form fields, PDFs, full page URLs, search terms, or session replay. PostHog person profiles, autocapture, surveys, automatic page events, and session recording are disabled. Analytics is used for product measurement, not advertising or cross-company tracking.

Purchases and delivery

Apple processes App Store downloads and payments. RevenueCat receives a pseudonymous app-user identifier, product catalog and transaction/entitlement status needed to provide and restore the lifetime unlock. DinkFair does not receive payment card details. Cloudflare hosts this static site and may process standard network logs and security data.

Sharing and sale

We do not sell personal information. Service providers process data only to deliver hosting, analytics, purchase status, distribution, and support. Legal disclosure may occur when required by law or necessary to protect users and the service.

Children

DinkFair is an organizer utility and is not directed to children under 13. Organizers should avoid entering unnecessary personal information and should use initials or nicknames when appropriate.
